https://www.thepackersfanshop.com/Jamaal-Williams-Jersey , the Green Bay Packers were stymied by the Chicago Bears and their smothering defense. The 24-17 defeat dropped the Packers to a 5-8-1 record, effectively ending their season by mathematically eliminating them from the playoff conversation. Aaron Rodgers and company continued their season-long trend of out-of-synch offense, missing on the little details that define the fine line between winning and losing in the ultra competitive NFL. With two games of essentially meaningless football left to play, attention now turns to the roster — more specifically, what will Joe Philbin do with Aaron Rodgers? Aaron Jones was placed on IR this week with an injury that we assume would be a week-to-week situation during a playoff run. So what’s the benefit of playing our aging star quarterback at this point? Stubborn pride? Reps with young wide receivers like Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown? For every reason to play Aaron Rodgers Dean Lowry Jersey , we can find two reasons not to. The official podcast consensus is that Aaron Rodgers should sit. What do you think?Click here to access the episode at Art19.Have ideas or questions? That is very much not the case for the Green Bay Packers this week as they prepare to play the Minnesota Vikings. On Wednesday, the team practiced for the first time this week and was missing two critical cornerbacks and an important young depth safety. Bashaud Breeland, Kevin King Kentrell Brice Color Rush Jersey , and Raven Greene all had to sit out practice, leaving their statuses very much in doubt for Sunday night’s game at U.S. Bank Stadium. The one bit of good news in the defensive backfield is that safety Kentrell Brice was able to practice, but even he did so on a limited basis. If those players are unable to play on Sunday, that would leave the team with a cornerback group consisting of Jaire Alexander, Josh Jackson https://www.thepackersfanshop.com/Geronimo-Allison-Jersey , Tony Brown, and Will Redmond — a less-than-ideal situation. Tramon Williams could shift back to cornerback from his free safety spot in a pinch as well, which would likely result in snaps for Ibraheim Campbell on the back end.In any case, being down those two corners would make for a tough matchup with the Vikings’ receivers, even if Thielen is limited in the game somewhat by calf and lower back injuries that kept him limited in Wednesday’s practice. Stay tuned for more updates as the weekend rolls towards Sunday.Packers Wednesday Practice ReportDid Not ParticipateCB Bashaud Breeland (groin)DL Mike Daniels (foot)TE Jimmy Graham (knee/thumb)S Raven Greene (ankle)CB Kevin King (hamstring)G Lucas Patrick (concussion)OLB Nick Perry (knee)Limited ParticipationS Kentrell Brice (ankle)WR Randall Cobb (hamstring)Full ParticipationQB Aaron Rodgers (knee)Vikings Wednesday Practice ReportDid Not ParticipateOLB Ben Gedeon (concussion)TE David Morgan (knee)S Andrew Sendejo (groin)DE Stephen Weatherly (not injury related/shoulder)Limited ParticipationWR Chad Beebe (hamstring)G Tom Compton (knee)G Mike Remmers (low back)WR Adam Thielen (calf/low back)Full ParticipationOLB Anthony Barr (hamstring)DE Everson Griffen (toe)G Danny Isidora (knee)CB Xavier Rhodes (foot)
